Thank you for choosing to participate in HMHA's rental assistance programs. Our property owner participants are a key to the success of our program.

HMHA is currently serving over 700 families in its jurisdiction under HUD's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. HMHA determines if a participant is eligible for the program. The property owner is responsible for his normal screening process.

Under the HUD-funded HCV Program, HMHA administers a monthly rent subsidy payment to the property owner to bridge the gap between what a renter can afford to pay and the actual market rent amount. The property owner is also responsible for continuously maintaining the unit to meet HUD's Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and enforcing the terms of the lease agreement.

HMHA's staff will always be available to assist you with any questions.
