How to Apply

When HMHA’s waiting list is OPEN, paper applications are available to fill out.

You can pick up a paper application at HMHA’s office located at 1800 N. Blanchard St, Suite 114 Findlay Ohio 45840. We will only accept completed paper applications during our normal business hours. Any questions or concerns please call 4194247848.

The Application Process

After the preliminary application is returned to HMHA, the information is entered into a computer system and your name is placed on a waiting list.

Our waiting list is electronically sorted by preferences and date and time of application. HMHA has a preference for veteran households and targeted funding for head of household, spouse and/or co-applicant with a disability.

Since the demand for housing assistance often exceeds the limited resources available to HUD and the local housing authority, a long waiting period could be possible.

When your name is pulled from the waiting list you will receive a letter for a scheduled appointment.
